Last July 22-26 our family trip to Singapore pushed through. It was fun since it has been a while since we went for a trip as a family. The last one we had was in Davao last October 2008. Overseas it was around 1993 when I was still in gradeschool. In my opinion, Singapore is one of those sterling examples of good urban planning and development. It balances nature alongside industrial structures. It also has much to say about self-discipline and proper enforcement of laws. You wouldn’t want to be caught eating in their MRT. You will immediately be fined 500SGD(~17250 PHP). That’s a lot of money! Let’s just hope that we can manage to do that here in the Philippines.
