If there is more funding for UP I think more teachers will be encouraged to stay and will eventually credit their research for UP. Yung iba kasi foreign funded kaya di sa UP na-credit. UP didn't participate this year sa surveys so they used last year's data to come up with the rankings, at least for UP's part. But then, the fact that Ateneo is leading proves that they are striving to be competitive. Blame it on poor allocation of the government when it comes to educational funding...
