Cookie, Muffin, Brownie Galore February 27, 2009

For about 3 months now, our bunso Noreen has been busy baking and selling goodies (cookies, muffins, brownies, cookie bars) for friends and even for my officemates. This has kept her busy aside from job hunting these past few months. But this week has been her busiest so far. See how much goodies have been churned by our small oven at home (this is just top view).
These are all orders from Ate Shirley and her officemates. There are half as many orders again after this installment. They liked it a lot, Biboy couldn’t agree more. Here he is with his thumbs up!
Though tiring, it has been rewarding for her since she earned almost the same amount she earns for a month in just a week’s order. We are proud of her and her delectable goodies. Orders anyone? Hehe 
Eheads Final Set Tickets at last February 24, 2009

I’m pretty much excited now that at last we have our tickets to the Eheads Final Set concert at MOA. I was able to buy 4 silver tickets for me, my sisters and brother-in-law. The TicketWorld office at Vicente Madrigal building is pretty close to our office so I was able to get the tickets in 15 minutes. It took us longer to decide what ticket to buy (whether to buy a bronze or a silver ticket). Eventhough it could mean a lot of savings if we get the cheapest ticket, I bet the crowd there is not as controlled as it is in silver or gold areas. Thanks to my Sick Leave reimbursement, I was able shell out money for the tickets (Salamat po at di ako nagkasakit ng malubha last year!).
The plugs at radio and TV make us rave more about it. The Eheadscountdown site linked to Smart’s promotion of the concert is pretty nifty, having new (at least for me) trivia and updates of the upcoming concert. The graphics and pictures on the site are pretty cool too, complete with rehearsal pics of the band.
It’s just 11 days to go, I can’t wait!

Hi folks! Our song for today is ‘Reyna ng Sablay’, new lyrics by Ibyang. Adapted from Sugarfree’s Hari ng Sablay, the version below is inspired by an incident at the underpass today that reminds Ibyang that she’s a true blue clumsy girl. Hope you enjoy it.
